User Pairing and Outage Analysis in Multi-Carrier NOMA-THz Networks

This paper provides a comprehensive framework to analyze the performance of non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) in downlink transmission single-carrier and multi-carrier terahertz (THz) network. Specifically, we first develop novel user pairing scheme for THz-NOMA network which ensures gains NOMA over orthogonal (OMA) each individual pair adapts according molecular absorption. Then, characterize outage probability expressions considering presence various schemes, Nakagami-m channel fading, absorption noise. We propose moment-generating-function (MGF) based approach users THz Furthermore, negligible thermal noise, provide simplified single-integral compute Numerical results demonstrate proposed user-pairing validate accuracy derived expressions.
